Gwakkamole is a game designed to train inhibitory control, a crucial subskill of executive functions. Inhibitory control involves the ability to manage attention, behavior, thoughts, and emotions to override strong internal predispositions or external temptations and instead perform what is more appropriate or necessary. Players are tasked with smashing avocados that are hatless or tip their hat, while avoiding those with spiky hats or electric hats.
